Hi, Moe
I'm a long time listener of your show, which I absolutely loved and am so sorry to hear the news. It's like losing a personal friend. You are one of the few local talents (and I UNDERSCORE 'talent') who is NEVER afraid to take a 'punch'..or hand one out! This is not the way I wanted to accompany my Sunday cup of java, but I had to say thank you. One reason that I was so addicted to your fanatical ramblings (hehe) is that my son was born the same month as YOUR boy! So, we all were 'family' of sorts! Thank you, mon ami, thank you so much. You're missed already.

Dear Moe,
I slept in 'til 6:30 a.m. yesterday (Feb.23rd, 2008 ), so
missed the first half hour of your show ; then had to shovel
snow (yuk) , so missed the last 15 mins. After reading your
Issues of the Day, I figured I had missed your announcement
during those two times. I kept moaning about that news and
wondering "what the heck did I do to deserve THIS !!! Then I
considered the possibility that you and your bride might be
retiring to some 'sunny clime'. Pulled up Issues of the Day this
a.m. and read your report of the ~~#%&%??#%~~ that rko pulled!!
(Intentionally did not capitalize the station). I have been an avid
listener for many, many years...even before your son was born !!...
O.K., I'm older than you are !!!
I surely am going to miss you and certainly hope that a radio station
that we can pick up here in New Hampshire will sign you on.
Also, am unhappy to be missing your interviews with our brave
ones in Iraq. Many, many thanks for creating that segment.
Glad that you're continuing Issues of the Day....we've gotta'
have that !!!!
Luv ya', and gonna' miss ya',
Joanie .

Dear Moe -
I was listening yesterday but not for the entire show because life (and my young children) calls, when I read the morning paper that you had been let go in the manner you were, it made me sick.
Turning you on in the morning before my kids get up and we run off to basketball practices or what ever is on the agenda most Saturday mornings was part of my weekend routine. I enjoyed how you hear everyone out who calls and respond in a very 'common sense' way. We have lost all common sense in this world and it was always refreshing to hear you.
I have written to the station and will no longer listen on the weekends - the addition of Finneran and Reese has already changed my week day morning listening as well, I can 't stand either of those guys.
WRKO is making bad choices which will ultimately do them in. If they want the morons who spend all day listening to info-mercials let them have 'em.
Good luck with your book(s) and to your son with is baseball and your entire family. I hope we have not heard the last of you.

Hello Mr. Lauzier,
I've listened to your program for years, after everything that has happened at WRKO in the past few years, they've become masters at shooting themselves in the foot. I am deeply sorry the cowards at WRKO cut your program. I will miss hearing your conversations with our troops in Iraq. I'm a reservist with friends in the sandbox, and it makes me feel good when a talk show host talks to our troops on the air. Rush and Howie were the only times I listened to WRKO during the day, and I would turn you on while on my way to work on Saturday morning. I am going to be removing 680 from my presets. Good luck Moe!
Sincerely, Leigh
Moe –
Just wanted to let you know how much you will be missed. The number of emails you must be receiving is a testament to
just what you meant to the people of New England , never mind the hundreds of other lives you touched through baseball.
I hope when Jason Wolf’s time comes (and IT WILL), he handles it with the same dignity and class that you did.
I will keep constant vigil on Issues Of The Day to see what station I will be listening to you next.
Best of luck.
Peter From Bedford .

:It was with a deep sense of disappointment that I learned that you will no longer be broadcasting on Saturday morning. With few exceptions, you were a welcome voice every Saturday morning as I was either chopping wood, working in the greenhouse or, weather permitting ,cleaning a barn. There is nothing like doing that kind of work and,at the same time, listening to you and the callers expressing their views.I think you deserve a great deal of credit for making the calls to Iraq available to hear each week.I canot imagine myself, under any circumstances, listening to infomercials. In a sense we have a bond of sorts. My son is a Navy SEAL and your daughter a member of the finest army in the world.Again,Saturday mornings will not be the same for me. GOOD LUCK !!!
Frank
I've listened to you for years and can't believe what has happened!
What is wrong with WRKO? You have been there for them so many times. I remember when you worked every night until midnight. I remember those Sunday mornings you were with Zoppo. Your loyalty and reliability has been unmatched. They don't make them like you anymore! I'll check your site frequently.
Best of Luck & Health,
Barb M.
Sorry to hear the news. Enjoyed your show for years.

Hi Moe -
I am angry, annoyed, and outraged all at the same time. I sent the following letter to Jason Wolfe, with copies to David Field and Julie Kahn. Hang in there.

Dear Mr. Wolfe,
Congratulations! You have finally succeeded in alienating me to the extent that I will no longer listen to WRKO under any circumstances.
I was annoyed when you hired an admitted felon and incompetent hack, but I resolved not to listen to him and leave it at that.
I was annoyed with the Howie Carr fiasco, and Entercom's ham-fisted handling of the situation, but Howie came back and I left it at that.
I was annoyed with Entercom's treatment of a very loyal employee, Todd Feinberg, whose crime was doing everything that management asked of him, and doing it competently. When he disappeared, I was annoyed but left it at that.
I was astonished when Entercom hired a hip-hop New Yorker to host its ten a.m. slot. I gave Reese a listen because I felt I should, however it became immediately apparent that he was in over his head and did nothing for me.

The firing of Moe Lauzier is the last straw. You didn't even have the decency to fire him yourself. A 25-year employee who also did his job competently and responsibly and you sent a producer to let him go. What courage! What decency! What a gutless coward you must be! And a coward without a sense of decency or morality to boot.
Today I realized why you are surrounding yourself with incompetents and hacks while getting rid of good, talented broadcasters. It's because that's all you know – incompetence and hackery.
You've not only lost me as a listener, I plan to boycott WRKO's advertisers and tell them why I am no longer a listener. You could screw up a one-car funeral, Mr. Wolfe. Congratulations.

I've selected a cross sample of the emails we have received during the last 24 hours. I began answering them individually but soon realized it was an impossible task. I'm truly sorry I can't reply to all, a day is only 24 hours long. I hope you understand the dilemma. The last name and email address of senders has been removed to protect the privacy of the senders. I will leave this web site up and add future letters to it as well as allow you to add whatever comments you wish (just click below) without needing to sign up with Google. You will only need to decipher the spam prevention code......Moe
